Mercy

Mercy

Normally I wouldn't bother to review a TV show on here. I'm going to make an exception this week because of an actress that caught my attention.

NBC's new drama stars Taylor Schilling as Veronica Callahan. Schilling may actually be the best new face to enter fall TV.

Mercy is an okay show with a few brilliantly written scenes and some that just don't quite fit. The writers and actors both do the relationship and gossip stuff perfectly, but they could stand to take a few lessons about the actual medical situations.

Right now the show is off to a shaky start, and unless fans start tuning in, it will probably become a casualty. Whether this show makes it or not, there's no doubt in my mind that Taylor Schilling will make an impression upon someone because this woman is bound for bigger and better things. It's only a matter of time before she'll be a household name.
